Jade Whaanga is an Aotearoa (NZ) based Indigenous Dance Artist (Director/Choreographer/Performer) who is a descendant of Ngati Rakaipaaka and was raised in Te Waipounamu. Master in Dance Studies Jade's creative wellness practice focuses on re-claiming the indigenous body, empowerment through movement, and healing through dance as ritual.
